The Nation’s First
The Oak Ridge Science & Technology Park is the nation’s first technology park on the campus of a national laboratory. Through this unique offering, private sector companies can now have an on-site location that allows for greater efficiencies when working with scientists at the National Laboratory.
Companies located at the Science & Technology Park are better able to equip themselves to be optimally competitive within their markets in price, in technology, and in the time it takes to release a product to market.

Halcyon Commercialization Center
In relation to other CROET managed properties within Innovation Valley, the Science & Technology Park is a small site. It is currently roughly 15 acres, nestled within one of our Nation’s greatest resources, ORNL. While there is room for growth, it will likely not exceed 40 acres in total.
The Halcyon Commercialization Center (HCC) is a 30,000sq ft office and laboratory facility with space available for lease. The HCC’s purpose is to provide an interface between private sector companies and the advanced technologies being developed at The Laboratory.
Pro2Serve National Energy Security Center
The larger area of the park already has its first private sector tenant. Pro2Serve has located its 105,000sq ft headquarters within the Science & Technology Park. The facility, known as the Pro2Serve National Energy Security Center, is fully occupied.
